Coming off an incredibly special couple of long weekends in the desert, the first for LAND's performance of Katie Grinnan's Astrology Orchestra, the second for the holiday. Words won't begin to describe the time spent, it must simply be felt.

Devotion fades without a warning

Heard this song on Morning Becomes Eclectic on the way to the office this morning, within the first few seconds I thought it was 5 different bands from as many different decades, only to be stumped by a sound entirely unique. Oren Lyons is an LA-based band and an immediate favorite, so sorry to have missed their recent show, opening for the epic Other Lives.
